Live Stock Market Update By Money Maker Research

NTPC Limited has announced that the Govt of India has proposed to sell up to 41.22 crore shares or 5 percent stake of the company. Indian stock markets plummeted on Tuesday led by the fall in the shares of NTPC after the govt announced that it will sell 5 percent stake in NTPC at Rs 168 per share to raise Rs 7,000 crore. Stocks of NTPC slipped 3.03%, Sun Pharma went down 1.12%, HDFC and HUL down 1.11% and 0.96% respectively among others.

Meantime, NSE benchmark Nifty50 index has made few alterations in its constituents which will be effective from 29 Sept 2017, as per which the stocks of ACC Ltd, bank of Baroda, Tata Power and Tata motors DVR are being removed from Nifty50 index, whereas Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Petroleum Limited and United Phosphorus Ltd (UPL) are to be included in Nifty50 index.

Live Stock Market: The BSE Sensex is trading at 31,499 down 251 pts, while Nifty is trading at 9,837 down 75 pts.

Sensex closes up 164 points, Nifty 0.62% higher on recovery in global markets


Money Maker Research, Investment Advisory, Nifty Trading TipsBSE Sensex closed higher by 164 points, or 0.56%, to 29,332, while the NSE Nifty rose 55.85 points to 9,086.30. Sensex rose today tracking a recovery in global markets with energy shares leading the gains, whereas financial and auto shares bounced back. Key indexes had on Wednesday clocked their highest intraday loss in over 2 months, boosted by a slump on the Wall Street due to a lack of clarity in Trump’s economic policies. U.S shares picked up on Wednesday while Asian stocks rose on Thursday, taking signals from gains on Wall Street.
Share price of NTPC finished on an cheerful note, up 2.3%, after the company reported seeking to buy the federal government's stake in hydro-power producer SJVN Ltd. to increase the share of non-fossil fuel generation capacity.
Share price of Cairn India surged 2.7% after the government approved a policy for extending the term of more than two dozen oil & gas production contracts signed in a bid to bolster energy security. The move is expected to obtain an additional investment of about USD 5.43 billion.
The rupee was trading at Rs 65.42 against the US Dollar in the afternoon session. Oil prices were trading at US Dollar 48.35 at evening.

Sensex sheds 77 points; Nifty50 hits 6-month low to end at 8,074


Equity benchmarks indices were trading lower on Friday, closing market at Sensex sheds 77 points at 26,150.24. and the Nifty declined 6-month low to end at 8074. NTPC rallies 4 percent while Tata Steel slips 2 percent. About 1312 shares have advanced, 1277 shares declined, and 166 shares are unchanged. 
The gainers were NTPC, Sun Pharma, Bharti, Hero MotoCorp and M&M, while losers were Tata Steel, ITC, GAIL, Asian Paints and HDFC Bank.
Sectoral indices were trading on a mixed note with stocks from power sector,  witnessing maximum buying interest. Stocks from fast moving consumer goods sector are witnessing selling pressure.

Stock And Commodity Market Slips Down, Infosys drops 8 percent
Indian Stock Market opened flat today, could not hold its early gains and deviated to red. Sensex live at 27815 with 126 points down or 0.45 percent while Nifty dropped 0.33 points or 0.39 percent to 8531. Indian sectors are trading mixed with Consumer Durables sector at 12504 with 205 points up and Auto sector at 20404 with 175 points at top. BSE Small Cap trading at 12028 with 40 points down, BSE Mid-Cap at 12144 with 29 points up and Nifty Mid-Cap live at 14334 with 4 points down. Infosys dropped 8.96 percent in the early sessions which is depicted as a major loss, NTPC and TCS dropped 2.5 percent. Rupee opened marginally higher but declined 0.04 paise or 0.06 percent to 66.95. Bullion Market drops in the early session, Gold with 63 points down trading at 30,887 and Silver dropped 64 points at 47,445. Energy sector is trading low minor loss. NCDEX Market is trading marginally down. Charjddel and Sybeanidr with minor losses trading respective at 9000 and 3650. Rmseed with 11 points hike at 4924, Tmcfgrnzm with 18 points hike at 8104 and Dhaniya with 24 points lead at 7809. Asian market Indices are trading high on global cues. Japan's benchmark index Nikkei with 114 points hike trading at 16500, Hong Kong's Index Hang Seng with 30 points up trading at 21591 and China's benchmark index Shanghai Composite declined 1.54 points at 3052.48.
